Well 17th June would appear to be the gotcha day for Tre. We have had confirmation that the adoption forms have been received.
So we are now officially a family of 5.

Fortunately we have had no more roof visits, and I hope to keep it that way!!!
I have sent off all the adoption forms, and all that jazz, so hope we are still allowed to keep him.... I am still finding it hard to get my head round how wonderful everyone has been, so supportive, and so good. When we were looking round places like RSPCA etc, they all wanted people with experience of Staffie's... We didn't have that :(
It is hard I suppose from their perspective, we had three adults in the house, no kids and much love to give to a certain doggie.... We are still feeling so lucky to be spending time with Tre, he is a sweetie, I just want to make sure we remember how lucky we are and never forget it!
We would like to once adoption has gone through look at changing his name to Pickle... However lets take things slow.. We are in no rush, as we want to be with him for the rest of his days.
Anyway, this is a bit of a funny week as not much has happened... Sorry, we must be falling into more of a routine.... Oh I want to start trying to teach walking to heal (yeah I know).
Also I was looking into joining a flyball group as I think he will be good at this, it is mainly dominated by Collies.... but I don't think that will bother us... and we have to be a year old before letting us in... so I might make some enquireies in a couple of months.
Anyway... I will try not to leave it so long next time....

Whaaaaaaaa....
Sorry, my dedicated followers (Kay and Vera). I have been neglectful.. Not to Tre, to this Blog.

Well, don't worry we do not have any devastating news... and we all seem to be getting on just fine. Tre seems to have managed to work out how long his legs are so that's good..
The main excitement was that Simon wanted to video me trying to wipe Tre's bottom when he had grass hanging out.... Do not worry, I don't have pictures but Simon was finding it very funny. I then found out that Kay has had a similar experience!
Oh and we went to the Hamstreet festival of transport and machinery... Yes I know it sounds very exciting, it's quite a nice show and we camped from Saturday to Sunday. Tre was very well behaved. Many people were admiring him... it was very hot and we did drink quite a bit... I was getting a little worried with him having a dark coat, so we were seeking shade (I don't do well in the heat either being fair skinned).
However we did managed to get a couple of nice piccies from the weekend!

Also....I have got Tre a few more toys... one from the work 'book club', and at present it has not broken..

Hello Again...
This week we have been doing some fetch (although I think Tre is just bringing things back for treats and not worked it all out yet. No worries, more reinforcement needed, he seems keen to mainly bring things back so that is the hard bit sorted... the rest will following in time.
Tre is still displaying quite a few cat traits, from the doing a few 360's before plopping himself down, to climbing out on to the roof... (not much of a heart attack on this one).

Whist playing fetch, we thought we would try to encourage Tre that water is really not that bad, and nothing to be a big girl about. So starting slowly and seeing how he went over the course of a few days (nice hot days) we have been playing in the paddling pool.
Well after being thrown in again.....
Then we are starting to get more and more confident with it all... as you can see...
Some serious wet for Tre.....
Then we tried the sea again... with some slightly better results....
I'll be back... next week with some more antics.....
